School Meals Information 2024-2025

Rockwall ISD participates in the National School Lunch + Breakfast Program which offers free and reduced-price meals based on student eligibility. Families are encouraged to complete the Application for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals. The application will determine a child’s eligibility for free and reduced-price meals and may assist in the determination of eligibility for other state or federal benefits. Only one application needs to be completed per household. The Child Nutrition Office will notify the household of the child’s eligibility once an application is processed.

Meal applications are available online at or a paper application is available from either the school office or cafeteria.  Please return a paper application to either the school office or Cafeteria Manager.  Meal applications will also be included in the school registration process.  A meal application can be submitted at any time during the school year as household finances change.

Pre-pay for snacks, beverages or any extras your child may want to purchase that is not included in the meal. Parents can also see what their student(s) select for meals. Click here to create or view student accounts.

SchoolCafe has many features that you and your children will be able to enjoy. One of the features in SchoolCafe is the parent and student accounts. Special Diet Requests

To request a dietary modification or substitution to school meals, please complete the Special Diet Request Form. The form must be completed by the parent/guardian and by a licensed medical doctor, nurse practitioner or physician assistant. Return completed forms to the school nurse.

*Beginning September 1, 2023, the state of Texas will begin providing funding for Reduced Price breakfast cost. The student will no longer be charged for Reduced-price breakfast.

Parents and other family members are welcome to dine with us! Please register at your school’s front office and obtain a Visitor’s Pass. Please contact your school for serving times.
