Quest Scholarships

Applications must be submitted online by Sunday, March 23, 2025 - late submissions will not be considered.

   2. Save the PDF to your computer file or desktop using this format: campus.lastname.studentID#.pdf, ie., Quest.Smith.12345.pdf
   3. You must use your student Rockwall ISD Google account to access the scholarship applications.
   4. Review the requirements of each of the scholarships below for which you want to apply. Several scholarships will require you to upload additional qualifying documents or essays.
   5. Apply and upload your completed application and any required qualifying documents to each of the scholarships for which you would like to apply.

*A copy of your current, unofficial transcript will be attached to each application.  If you need assistance, please contact the Quest Counselor, Mrs. Jensen.

Alliance Bank

$$: $2000 stackable scholarships, up to $8000

Requirements:

• Plan to enroll full time at a 2 or 4 year college, university, or vocational/technical school
• Academic record, potential to succeed, leadership and participation in school and community, honors, work experience, a statement of educational and career goals.
• Must complete the Alliance Bank application (not the RISD Local Scholarship Application.) Application must be submitted by MARCH 18, 2025, 3:00 PM

Council of PTA's Scholarship

$$: Amount awarded varies

Requirements:

• RHS RHHS Quest Student
• Must have attended Rockwall ISD junior and senior years
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher
• Must plan to be enrolled full-time at an accredited college, university or technical institute
• Must have completed and show documented proof of 75 or more volunteer community service hours. (Hours do not include meeting hours for club organizations)
• Hours will be counted from the first day following the close of sophomore year to March of senior year
• Work experience considered
• Applicant or parent must be a member of any local Rockwall ISD PTA. Copy of (student/parent) PTA membership card must be attached to application

J.W. Williams Middle School PTO 

$$: $500 (2 available)

Requirements:

• Quest or RHS Student
• Must plan to enroll in full time college, university or technical institute 
• Must have attended Williams Middle School in 7th and 8th grade
• Parent/Guardian or student must be a member of their current schools PTA or PTO to be considered.
• PTO/PTA Membership card must be attached to your application

Lynda Lyon PTO

$$: $1000 (1-3 available)

Requirements:

• Must be a Rockwall ISD 2025 Graduate
• Must have attended Lyon Elementary in all of 6th grade
• Must plan to enroll full-time in an accredited college, university or technical institute, or vocational school

The Baldwin Group Scholarship

$$: $1000 (6 available)

Requirements:

• Quest, RHS or RHHS Students
• Student whose life has been impacted by a difficult event or circumstance
• The Baldwin Group assist in helping clients get through tough situations like disasters or employee injury with their business. Application must include a 200 word essay about a challenging situation that impacted your life, how you were able to deal with it and what helped you through it.  How could you possibly take the things you have learned from this experience and use it in the business world some day?
• Citizenship and Community Service
• Academic record shows potential for college success with an interest in taking general business classes.
• Applicant must be entering a 2 or 4 Year College or Technical School in the Fall
• Demonstrates character, kindness and compassion and makes a difference with peers and community
• Financial Need

Rockwall Breakfast Rotary- Trade School Scholarship

$$: $1000 (1 per campus)

Requirements:

• Quest Student RHHS or RHS Student
• GPA 2.5 or greater
• Financial Need
• Must be enrolled or plan to enroll or attend a vocational/technical school
• Application must include one letter of recommendation
• Community Service Background- Volunteer or Job Experience
• Optional Interview

Rockwall County Sheriff's Posse

$$: Amount awarded varies

Requirements:

• RHS, RHHS or Quest Student
• Must have participated in 4-H, FFA, other agricultural related program or criminal justice program
• Plan to enroll in an accredited college, university or technical institute, trade or vocational school or pursue public safety or criminal justice
• Provide an unofficial High School Transcript

Requirements:

• RHHS or RHS Student

• Commitment to community service

Stan Shannon Scholarship

$$: $500 

Requirements:

• Quest graduate
• Stan Shannon, a former teacher of Quest Academy, made many contributions to the lives of young people through his work as an educator and coach.  This award is to recognize Stan's dedication to all students.  The intention of this scholarship is to let his work continue to enrich the lives of young people for years to come.

Rockwall Women's League - Academic Scholarship

$$: Amount varies per scholarship

Requirements:

• Male or Female students may apply
• Applicant must be entering an accredited or licensed school in the Fall semester
• Must be a graduating Senior from RHS, RHHS or Quest Academy
• Financial need, academic records, leadership, community service and desire to complete college.
• Scholarship is paid throughout 8 semesters of school.

Rockwall Women's League - Electra Malone Art Scholarship

$$: Amount varies per scholarship

Requirements:

• Male or Female students may apply
• Applicant must be entering an accredited or licensed school in the Fall semester
• Must be a graduating Senior from RHS, RHHS or Quest Academy
• Eligible applicants must pursue a degree in  Fine Art, Dance, Music, Drama,  Art (painting or sculpting), or Graphic Art/Design
