Technology Support
The Technology Department provides support for staff in several ways:
Instructional Technology Specialists
There are 9 Instructional Technology Specialists that support campuses with integrating technology into the learning process. Staff members can find training and online resources at the Rockwall ISD Instructional Technology site. A Google staff login if required to access the site.
Help Desk
Rockwall ISD has a centralized Help Desk to provide consistent and timely assistance. If you need help, put in a ticket or call 469-698-7222 (extension 7222).

Technicians
There are 10 field technicians who work on campuses to manage device repairs, inventory, and troubleshooting. The Technology Department also has a Hardware Technician and AV Technician to provide additional support. If you need help, contact the Help Desk or put in a ticket for assistance. A technician will be dispatched to assist you.
Quotes for Equipment
Campuses are provided a standard of equipment for classrooms, offices, and libraries. If a department or campus would like to purchase additional equipment, put in a Help Desk ticket and the Technology Department can help you get quotes.
