Rockwall ISD is dedicated to providing the best digital services available for staff and students.  Here are the highlights of the services provided:

• Rockwall has a robust, redundant WAN that provides high speed connectivity between campuses.  Zayo is the district's fiber provider.
• RISD provides 40 GB of Internet for connecting to the Internet.  Zayo is the district's Internet provider.
• The district standard for network equipment is HP/Aruba switches and access points.  There is an access point in every classroom.
• Skyward Student Management is the district's SIS (student information system).  Staff, students, and parents have access to use this resource.
• The district uses Content Keeper for its Internet content filtering and management.  RISD is fully compliant with all laws pertaining to Internet filtering.
• Each classroom has a 75" interactive panel or 86" TV. 
• Each classroom has enough devices for each student to use during class.  Most classrooms have a Chromebook cart.  Specialized labs and classrooms have the equipment appropriate to the curriculum.
• All students have a Google account to use the available digital resources.  Students in grades 8-12 have Gmail accounts.
• All student Google accounts are monitored for safety.  The district uses Gaggle for online safety of student drives and email.
