I am excited about this school year!  Each year our talented students create the most amazing artwork.  Your artists will paint with tempera and acrylic, draw with pencil, charcoal, and oil pastel, and sculpt with clay, paper, and mixed media.    

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of  North Texas and a graduate degree from Texas A & M - Commerce in Educational Administration.  I have five wonderful children, ranging in age from 22 to 15.  My husband, Loren McCrillis, is also a teacher and a coach at  Williams Middle School and Rockwall High School.  Rounding out our family are two sweet rescue dogs, Addie and Marley.  

This is my 14th year of teaching Art at Reinhardt Elementary and I have loved every minute!  I strive to integrate Science, Math, Social Studies, and Language into my art  lessons. I encourage you to talk with your children about the history behind each creation. You will be amazed!  Thank you for sharing your sweet children with me. It's going to be a FABULOUSLY Artful year!
