Welcome to Utley Middle School and welcome to my class! This is my 8th year at Utley and 9th year with Rockwall ISD, but I am not new to teaching. In 2000, I taught English IV and Pre IB English at Allen High School for 4 years until my daughter was born, then I chose to stay home with her for 10 years. I have lived in Rockwall since 2009, and my daughter is a Senior at RHHS. I graduated from Texas Tech University with a BA in English Literature and Language, and obtained my Secondary Teaching Certification from The University of North Texas. In a former life, I worked in Retail Advertising for The Dallas Morning News. I also worked for Lamm's Photo Studio and am an avid shutterbug in my free time.
