I am a North Texas native who headed west to Raiderland in 2008. I studied journalism and education at Texas Tech University (Wreck'em!), where I received my BA in 2012. I have been a competitive swimmer all my life and while working at the RISD Aquatic Center, I met my future husband, Tom. We have been married for seven wonderful years. We welcomed our first child, Paige, in November 2015 and our second child, Hadley, February 2018. We also have three adorable dogs named Max, Chunk and Bonnie. 
I love to read, cook, spend time with my family, and train and compete with my bird dogs.

This is my eighth year to teach at Rockwall High School and teaching is a job I do not take lightly. I feel passionate about my role in the lives of my students and I hope to prepare them not only for college, but the real world as well. JFND!
