Welcome to 8th Grade Science, and Pre-AP IPC. This is an important year for students, where we will be building upon the prior understanding of science, and laying the foundations for success in high school and beyond. This is a STAAR tested subject, and we will move at a relatively fast pace. 

We now have Pre-AP IPC (Integrated Physics and Chemistry) offered at RISD Middle Schools.  This is a High School credit Pre-AP course, so students must have completed the 7th Grade Pre-AP science (compacted) and be enrolled in Algebra I to qualify for this course.
