Mr. Gerry Smith
Welcome to my American Sign Language web page. This information is intended to help students and parents keep informed about vocabulary, lessons and projects done in class.
I look forward to teaching your child many things about one of my first languages, American Sign Language. I was born deaf, due to my mother having the German measles while she was pregnant with me. I grew up speaking English and signing ASL. I have taught ASL for 13 years and this is the start of my 14th year in education. This is my 12th year to be teaching in Rockwall ISD.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to send me an email firstname.lastname@example.org.
I look forward to a GREAT school year!
