I am so excited to kick off year two as a Hamm Hero! This year will be my 7th year of teaching. I started out as a kindergarten teacher and have made my way up to 6th grade, with a few stops in between - including 1st, 4th and special education! Reading and writing have hands down always been my biggest passions with teaching. I can’t wait to see the amazing things our 6th grade Heroes do this year!

I’m originally from eastern North Carolina, where my family still resides. I’ve been fortunate enough to call Texas home for the last three years! My family is a huge part of my life and I absolutely love going back to the coast to spend time with them! Since day one in TX, I have been blessed with an incredible group of friends who I love spending time exploring the area and making memories with! In my free time, I like to bake, create digital drawings, and paint! I also enjoy hanging out with my puppy, Baxter!
