Dallas College Technical Dual Credit Programs
Dallas College offers a variety of Welding and Automotive Programs of Study for dual credit to Rockwall ISD students. All programs offered are for 11th and 12th grade only. All programs occur on the Eastfield Dallas College Campus. Course sequencing is determined by Dallas College. Students have the ability to earn industry recognized certifications in addition to college credit and certifications. Rockwall County students are charged in-district tuition & fees by Dallas College. See Below for Enrollment Steps.
Please note some programs require students to complete the entire course of sequence to earn the industry certifications. Two year programs can be started in students’ junior year. If the student starts their senior year they can finish the course of sequence after graduation with Dallas College. All Welding classes meet at the Eastfield campus Monday through Friday from 1-5pm during 4th, 7th & 8th periods and Automotive classes are from 1-6pm Monday through Friday (Students will earn 4 high school credits per year.) Transportation by the district can be provided.

1) INDICATE INTEREST: Tell your high school counselor or the CTE Counselor your interest in the programs. This will let us know in order to make sure your Skyward Schedule is accurate and help you with the required paperwork.
