Welcome to 4th Grade!  I am so excited about starting my fourth year here at Nebbie Williams Elementary!  This will be my second year teaching Science and Social Studies, after being a Reading and Writing teacher for several years.  I love bringing my literacy background to Science and History, and everyone loves Science. We get to do a lot of fun things while learning to explore the world around us.  I am a true life-lifelong learner and love to instill that same zeal in my students.  Our class will be full of love, laughter and learning this year.

I had a name change over the summer, but rest assured, it is still me.  I will answer to Mrs. Appelwick, (Mrs. Markee) , or even Mrs. Apple:).  My husband, Bob and I have three boys. My oldest Ty, lives and works in Austin and is getting married at the end of August, (I am soooo old!), but we are very happy about that. Madison is wonderful and that will be great. Our middle one, Jack graduated from ETBU in May, and is working in Marketing in Dallas, and Matthew the youngest is heading off to Texas A & M in a couple of weeks for his junior year in Biomedical Engineering.  

 I can't wait to meet your kiddo and start our fourth grade journey together.
