Ms. Rheus is the Assistant Orchestra Director at Rockwall-Heath High School. In addition to the Rockwall-Heath Orchestras, Ms. Rheus teaches 6th grade beginning orchestra at Linda Lyon Elementary and Amy Parks-Heath Elementary.

Ms. Rheus studied viola and music education at Austin College, and holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Master of Arts in Teaching. While at Austin College, she played viola in the Sherman Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Mr. Dan Dominick, the Austin College Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Ricky Duhaime, and performed with the Austin College Student String Quartet. Ms. Rheus is a member of TMEA, TODA, and the American Viola Society. She has been teaching violin and viola privately since 2015, and enjoys working with students of all ages, from elementary to adult beginners.
