Mrs. Lenora Valery

I am a biology teacher at Rockwall High School. I didn't always know I was going to be a teacher, but I did always know I was going to do something in the field of biology. I have my bachelors in Biology from University of California San Diego, my masters' in teaching secondary science, and I am currently working on a masters' in Biology at Texas A&M. I have enjoyed many different experiences relating to biology, from working in a developmental biology lab during my bachelors program, to interning at an ultrasound clinic. I love to bring my experiences and passion for biology into the classroom to engage students and get them excited about biology. I started teaching at Rockwall high school under my maiden name of Dougherty. In the years since, I have gotten married and had a daughter.
