Hello Hamm Heroes! 

My name is Haley Smith and I am so excited to be your art teacher this year! 

I graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Art Education. I have lived in Rockwall my entire life and I am so excited to be back as a teacher! I absolutely love my family, friends, two schnauzer puppies, reading, and making art! 

As an artist and educator, I believe it is our role to be our students' cheerleaders through all aspects of their lives. Our students need to be able to see, in our classroom and in our teaching styles, that we care about their future and are invested in the progression of their learning and their interests. My biggest hope is that I can create that safe space for students to explore new materials, ideas, and open up their imagination to create some wonderful art!
