Hello! I was born and reared in Dallas, attended college in Missouri, and have spent much of my adult life as a military spouse in a military family--moving with my Marine and two children around the U. S. before settling in Rockwall after my husband's retirement from active duty.  Along the way, I learned to adapt easily, persevere, and adopted the roles of both educator and learner. 

I have had the privilege of serving others in a variety of ways throughout those nomadic years, and I am fortunate to be able to continue this now at RHHS! 

For the 2022-2023 school year, I teach English 1 Resource, English 1 Co-teach with Ms. Amy Camp, and Reading and serve as a Special Education case manager.  

My schedule:

8:40-9:25 - 1st pd - English 1 Resource

9:30-11:05 - 2nd pd: Conference; 5th Period: English 1 Co-Teach (Camp)

11:10-1:10 - 3rd pd: English 1 Co-Teach (Camp); 6th Period: PLCs

1:15-2:55 - 4th pd: English 1 Resource; 7th pd: English 1 Co-Teach (Camp) 

3:00-3:50 - 8th Period: Reading 

TUTORING is after school by APPOINTMENT ONLY.

 I am also the president of the Hawk Theatre Booster Club, which serves and supports the directors and thespian students of RHHS' Theatre Department (A.K.A. Heath Hawk Theatre Company).
