Dr. Nicole Caldwell

Welcome to our class! I'm Dr. Nicole Caldwell and I'm so excited to be your child's teacher this year. I've been teaching for about 16 years in private schools and special education programs, and this is my first year in the public school system.

I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. My son attends Rockwall-Heath High School and plays trombone in the band. He loves cooking and plans to enroll in the culinary program next year. 

Education: 

- Master's Degree in Special Education with a focus on autism (University of North Texas),

- PhD in Special Education with an emphasis on autism research (University of North Texas),

- Texas Classroom Teacher Certification in General Education (Early Childhood - 4th Grade),

- Texas Classroom Teacher Certification in Special Education (Early Childhood - 12th Grade),

- Graduate Academic Certificate in Autism Intervention (University of North Texas)
