My name is Wendy L. Thompson and I have been teaching at Dorothy Smith Pullen Elementary for 6 years.  I have been married to my husband, David, for 15 years.  We have 5 grown children between the two of us. My children are Michelle, Matthew and Myles.  They all attended school in Rockwall ISD as well.  I have a degree in Education for grades 1 through 8 with a specialization in Reading.  I am ESL certified, GT certified and I have been trained in the Reading Intervention Program called Fundations.  My passion is teaching children and I love what I do.  I also enjoy riding bikes, going to the beach on vacation time and reading.  I have 8 grandchildren and I love spending my spare time with them or the rest of my family.  I look forward to working with your children this school year.
