Rockwall ISD is a Great Place to Work, Live and Raise a Family!

Relationships. Innovation. Excellence.

We consider Rockwall ISD to be a “destination” District because of the quality of our schools, our excellent teachers, our strong academic and extra-curricular programs, and the partnership we have formed with the community to ensure our students become passionate learners, extraordinary citizens and leaders into the 21st century. The goal of the Human Resources Department is to attract, recruit and retain highly qualified professional staff to teach and guide our students while providing competitive salaries and benefits for our employees.

Rockwall Independent School District is one of the fastest-growing communities in the United States. Rockwall lies just across Lake Ray Hubbard approximately 23 miles east of Dallas. While embracing the culture of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Rockwall simultaneously retains traditional small town values. We educate just over 18,775 students in grades Pre-K-12th grade with just over 2,000 employees.

We promote diversity, strong ethics, kindness, compassion and professional growth. Students are the center of all our decisions.

Rockwall ISD is an equal opportunity employer. Applicants for all positions are considered without regard to race, color, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, religion, age, disability, genetic information, veteran or military status, or any other legally protected status. Additionally, the district does not discriminate against an applicant who acts to oppose such discrimination or participates in the investigation of a complaint related to a discriminating employment practice.
