BPA Students Shine at Regional Conference, Sending 31 Competitors to State

Thirty-one members of Business Professionals of America (BPA) at the Dr. Gene Burton College and Career Academy (GBCCA) are advancing to the state competition after delivering an outstanding performance at the 2026 Texas Regional Leadership Conference, Region 3-1. The event brought together more than 700 students from 15 BPA chapters across the region.

GBCCA emerged as a standout chapter, with 31 students advancing to the Texas State Leadership Conference. The state competition will take place in Dallas from March 5–8, 2026. State qualifiers will then have the opportunity to advance to BPA’s National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tennessee in May.
