Rockwall-Heath HS Infiniti Choir Leaves NYC as National Champions

Rockwall-Heath HS Infiniti Choir Leaves NYC as National Champions
Luci Mouton

The Rockwall-Heath High School Infiniti a cappella choir took a big bite of the "Big Apple," winning the prestigious International Championship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA) competition last week in New York City.

After making it to the national competition three times in the last five years, the group persevered and took home the coveted championship title this year. Only nine high school a cappella groups in the nation were selected to compete in NYC, each representing a region. Infiniti advanced to the national competition after winning the ICHSA Southwest Regional.

The team won additional national titles: best choreography by student Emily F. and best soloist from student Towdah K.

Rockwall-Heath High School Choir Directors are Lauren Smith and Patrick Vu. We are so proud of these students and teachers for their dedication to their craft and for representing Rockwall ISD with pride and honor.
