H9 Principles of Public Safety

On April 30 & May 1, the Principles of Public Safety class were treated to a visit by Sgt. Watson from the Rockwall Police Department. Sgt. Watson explained the various employment requirements for Rockwall PD and the types of positions available at the Rockwall Police department. The students got to go outside to see what is normally carried in a police SUV and how the lights operate, with a few courageous students asking to sit inside the back seat of the police car. In addition, the students were shown how to apply handcuffs and allowed to practice putting handcuffs on each other.
