IPC Egg Drop Lab at Rock Nine

IPC Egg Drop Lab at Rock Nine
Jessica Applegate

Students in Integrated Physics and Chemistry classes at Rock Nine put their knowledge of forces, momentum, and collisions to the test with a classic egg drop lab! Working in teams, they designed and built protective contraptions to keep their eggs intact during a high-impact fall. The challenge encouraged creativity, problem-solving, and real-world application of physics concepts like impulse and energy transfer. It was a fun (and sometimes messy!) way to see science in action.
