Rock Nine December Celebrations

December Student of the Month, Staff Member of the Month, and Teacher of the Month were awarded on the Rock Nine campus this week. 

Congratulations to Rock Nine Student of the Month: Emma G., who was nominated by Honors Biology Teacher, Mrs. Christina Hoover. She said, "Emma demonstrates an exceptional level of drive and determination. She doesn’t just want to pass; she wants to master the material, and she consistently puts in the time, effort, and focus needed to do so. Even with her busy schedule, she prioritizes her learning because she is genuinely committed to her own success." Emma was given a surprise recognition during her Honors English class and was awarded some treats and a certificate.

Congratulations to Staff Member of the Month: Gina Brown, Instructional Assistant. Nominations for Ms. Brown said, "Gina approaches each day with a smile that really gets your day started on the right foot. She knows how to fill others with joy and excitement about being an educator. Her ability to take care of our students helps maintain a positive environment in our classrooms; her team knows she plays a dynamic role." Ms. Brown was surprised in one of her classes with a goody bag and certificate.

Congratulations to Teacher of the Month: Todd Cecil, Special Education Teacher. Nominations for Mr. Cecil said, "Todd cares about and values every student. He builds strong relationships with students quickly, and they trust him. He is also willing to jump in and help in all capacities, whether it is with students or helping other staff members. He is an amazing addition to the Rock Nine team!" Mr. Cecil was surprised during one of his classes with a goody bag and certificate.
