Rock Nine October Celebrations

October Student of the Month, Paraprofessional of the Month, and Teacher of the Month were awarded on the Rock Nine campus this week. 

Congratulations to Rock Nine Student of the Month: Ian Carazao, who was nominated by IPC Teacher, Mrs. Bailey. She said, "Ian exemplifies the values of our school and the spirit of JFND through his consistent dedication to excellence in both character and conduct. He is a student who inspires those around him with his positive attitude, respectful demeanor, and willingness to help others." Ian was given a surprise recognition during his IPC class and was awarded some treats and a certificate. 

Congratulations to Paraprofessional of the Month: Jenna DeLange, AP Secretary. Nominations for Mrs. DeLange said, "Jenna has blown me away with her abilities to organize, prioritize, and support her fellow staff members. She is kind, caring, and generous with her time and talents. Her professionalism paired with her friendly personality have made her a joy to work with." Mrs. DeLange was surprised in her office with a goody bag and certificate.

Congratulations to Teacher of the Month: Christina Hoover, Honors Biology Teacher. Nominations for Mrs. Hoover said, "With a passion for education and a commitment to student success, she consistently implements effective, student-centered instructional strategies that not only engage learners but also inspire fellow educators. She is deeply respected by colleagues for their collaborative spirit, problem-solving mindset, and ability to foster meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families alike. Christina brings fresh ideas to the table, always seeking innovative approaches to teaching and learning while remaining grounded in our school's mission and vision." Mrs. Hoover was surprised during one of her classes with a goody bag and certificate.
