Rock Nine Participates in World Read Aloud Day

Rock Nine Librarian, Mrs. Jessica Applegate, and Principles of Education teacher, Mrs. Kelley Cavin, took students on a field trip for World Read Aloud Day. Students walked from Rock Nine to Celia Hays Elementary and read children's books to eager listeners. World Read Aloud Day celebrates the power of reading and sharing literature with others and what better people to facilitate that than aspiring educators?!
