Rock Nine September Celebrations

September Student of the Month, Paraprofessional of the Month, and Teacher of the Month were awarded on the Rock Nine campus this week. 

Congratulations to Rock Nine Student of the Month: Jake Wallace, who was nominated by Librarian, Mrs. Applegate. She said, "Jake demonstrates our student core value of Plan for Success each day by coming to the library. His love of reading, polite manner, and dedication to learning make him an excellent representative of our school's values." Jake was given a surprise recognition during his English class and was awarded some treats and a certificate. 

Congratulations to Paraprofessional of the Month: Raquel Quezada, Campus Registrar. Nominations for Mrs. Quezada said, "She never hesitates when I call for support and manages to multi-task while remaining pleasant and professional. Beyond that she works hard and is consistently dependable." Mrs. Quezada was surprised in her office with a goody bag and certificate.

Congratulations to Teacher of the Month: Kyle Gilpin, Math Teacher. Nominations for Mr. Gilpin said, "Kyle is respected by his colleagues, and they look to him for guidance and inspiration. He is always willing to learn new things, as proven by his desire to take over both Advanced Algebra 2 classes this year. He is always researching ways to improve his craft. He is truly a part of this school's foundation, and we all benefit from his presence." Mr. Gilpin  was surprised during one of his classes with a goody bag and certificate.
