UIL Debate Results
Jessica Applegate
This past Saturday, the RHS Speech and Debate team and the Current Issues and Events team competed at Crandall High School against 85 other competitors.
For Current Issues and Events- Eva K. got first place and Arjun S. placed third. Nick C. placed in the top 10, giving us enough points to win first place in this event, beating Highland Park and Crandall.
For Speech and Debate-

Freshman Kristen N. had a 1-2 record and averaged 27 speaker points per round, placing 9th.
