Utley at US Open
Allyssa Loya

The Utley Wolf Robotics team recently took their talents to the national stage at the U.S. Open Robotics Competition, hosted by the Robotics Education & Competition (REC) Foundation. Led by Mr. Griffin, the team represented Utley with skill, creativity, and teamwork.

The REC Foundation is known for connecting students, mentors, and schools through engaging, technology-focused programs. With a mission to help students develop both technical and interpersonal skills, the foundation plays a key role in preparing young innovators for success in the 21st century.

Competing alongside some of the top robotics teams from across the country, the Utley students demonstrated not only their engineering abilities but also the collaboration and perseverance it takes to thrive in a competitive environment. Events like this give students the opportunity to grow beyond the classroom and spark a passion for STEM that can shape their future.

Participation in the U.S. Open is a major milestone for the Utley team, and it reflects their commitment to learning, problem-solving, and reaching new goals.
