I am Jamie Palmer and this is my eleventh year to teach kindergarten.  I am a fifth-generation Rockwall girl.  I was born here, attended Reinhardt Elementary, and was a member of the first class of Reinhardt kindergarteners to graduate from Rockwall High School.  Following graduation, I attended Stephen F. Austin State University where I received a degree in education specializing in Early Childhood.

I absolutely love the community of Rockwall, and I’m honored to be a teacher in this great district.  Rockwall is my home and my plans are for it to be my home forever.  For the past 15 years, I have been married to Mitch, and we have a son, Preston.  Preston is in 8th grade at Utley Middle.

I’m looking forward to a great year at Springer, and I’m excited to have rewarding experiences with all my students.  My best reward comes from seeing students develop both academically and personally. It is important that my students know I’m one of their leading supporters.   I’m ready to begin our 2022-2023 school year.
