Jenny Utterback

Hello! My name is Coach J.
I am one of the staff Athletic Trainers and teach Sports Medicine here at Heath.  I graduated with my Bachelor's in Athletic Training and my Master's in Education from East Texas Baptist University (Go Tigers!).  This is my fourth year at Heath High School, and I really enjoy getting to work with your student athletes.  I have previously taught Biology, but teaching Sports Medicine is definitely more fun! ;) I have been a certified Athletic Trainer for going on 8 years now, and I have loved every minute of it.  My hope is that I will convey my love for what I do to my students and will spark an interest into Sports Medicine.

Conference Periods:
2nd/5th: 9:30-11:05
4th/7th: 1:15-2:55

Tutorials:
Since the "normal" time for tutorials is during the athletic periods, your child will have to set up a specific appointment time to meet with me, as I am often not available due to practice coverage and athletic training treatment times.  However, my main goal is for your child to succeed and thrive in my class, so please do not hesitate to contact me in regards to tutoring.
