My name is Laura Belzowski. I am thrilled to have your child in my class this year. I hope he/she is as excited about attending first grade as I am to have him/her in my class. Every day will be filled with excitement and building new and lasting friendships. This year they will continue their journey into learning to read, write, add and subtract, conduct science experiments, and explore social studies concepts.  My goal for your child is to develop a love of school, so that he/she may become life-long learners.
This is my fifteenth year of teaching. I’ve taught several grades, but First Grade is one of my favorite grade levels!

I am passionate about building a strong classroom community. That community doesn’t begin and end at the school doors. I fully believe in parental involvement. It takes a village to help your child grow academically, socially, and personally. Communication between the teacher, child, and family is one of the most important factors in your child’s success.
