All about me!

This will be my 17th year in Rockwall ISD and my 26th year in education.  I have a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Texas and Texas A & M University, College Station, where I received my Master's degree in Educational Psychology.  I taught third grade for two years and the rest of my career has been with intervention and instruction. I have been back in third grade for 2 years.  I have experiences in Bryan, Texas, Manhattan, Kansas, and Garland ISD prior to arriving in Rockwall ISD.  I grew up in Rockwall, and was in 2nd grade when the second elementary school was opened!  I love spending time with family and friends, the Texas Aggies, Mickey Mouse, and having fun in life.  

I lost my husband in 2019, so I am a single mom to two amazing children (ages 16 and 20). I have two adorable dogs named Duke and Daisy.
