This is my twenty-sixth year in the classroom and my seventh year in Rockwall ISD.  After graduating from West Texas A&M University in May 1996, I began my teaching career in Dumas, Texas.   Teaching has lead to many adventures. My husband and I spent five years teaching internationally in Nicaragua and Guatemala before returning to the Texas Panhandle in 2006.  More recently, we arrived in Rockwall at the beginning of the 2015 school year.  While abroad, I completed my Masters of Education in International Education from Framingham State College.  

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, who teaches at Rockwall- Heath High School,  and my two daughters.  I also enjoy reading, singing, playing board games, attending theater and sporting events, and watching movies.
