Welcome to 5th Grade Reading, Language Arts/Writing, and Social Studies! My desire is to encourage the love of learning while giving all students the confidence and skills to grow. Without a doubt, students are immersed in a literature-rich classroom environment sure to create meaningful and memorable learning experiences. 

This marks my 7th year at Ouida Springer Elementary, and my 21st year in education. The majority of my teaching career has been in upper elementary English Language Arts and Reading.

My husband and I have three children attending Rockwall ISD schools. Our family stays quite busy with sports, dance, and other fine arts activities. We love the community of Rockwall and Rockwall ISD!
