Utley Middle School was honored to have over 120 students and their guest veteran at breakfast on Friday. The students and their guests were served a delicious breakfast prepared by the UMS staff. After breakfast, the entire UMS student body and staff gathered in the RHS PAC for our annual Veteran's Day Program. Several students read original poetry that they had written especially for Veteran's Day. The orchestra and band also played several outstanding pieces. The guest speaker was Robert Carter, former RISD student, who is a captain is the US Army.
