PALs raises money through Pay it Forward

Our Utley PALS have completed their Pay It Forward Project. Together they raised 5,710.00. Some of the things they did to raise money were raffles, cleaning, washing cars, walking dogs, racking leaves, making and selling objects like bottle openers, beaded bracelets, wooden signs and baked goods. They baby-sat and spent valuable time with family cleaning out closets, garages, etc. The students spent many hours raising their money to meet and exceed their class goal. The money that was raised will be used to give back to our community. Last year we were able to buy gifts and food for our own Utley students that were in need at the holidays, we donated to the local animal shelter, and did a surprise donation to a local school for adults with disabilities. This year we will be able to bless so many members of our community. This project is so important because it shows students that even though they are young, they have to ability to make a difference.
