Rockwall-Heath (VISITING TEAM)

Codes will be used for participant’s families and season ticket holders Monday thru Wednesday. At 12:01 am on Thursday, all remaining tickets not purchased will go on sale to the general public first-come, first-serve. Utilizing our new ticketing system, we will pilot a program to prioritize season ticket holders on the visitor’s side this year.

Parking

There is one row coned off in front of Wilkerson-Sanders, but all other parking is open to the public.

Rockwall ISD Fine Arts Students Parking

All participating Fine Arts students that are driving to the game are to park in the First United Methodist Church parking lot on the corner of Yellowjacket Lane and T.L. Townsend Drive. They are to park on the north and east portions of the parking lot (see attached map) on the outer spots and once the north and east edge spots are taken then they are to park in the row next to the outer parking spots and fill in those spots first. As the rows fill up take the spots furthest from the entrance so that the spots nearest the entrance are filled last.

Rockwall-Heath Fans (Visitor) Parking

All Rockwall-Heath High School parking will be on the visitor’s side and can be accessed by entering the driveway that is just North of the Utley Middle School marquee sign. There will be signs that will direct traffic flow around Utley to the visitor’s parking area.

All Rockwall-Heath Buses

Will drop off at the south gate on the Visitor’s side (see attachment)

All Student Drop Off on Visitors Side

Any student dropped off on the Visitor’s side needs to be no further south than the ticket booth on the visitor’s side. The driveway behind the visitor’s stands will be blocked off and only used by authorized district vehicles.

Overflow Parking

Overflow parking will be across T.L. Townsend on the home side of Wilkerson-Sanders Stadium. There is no parking on grass areas and towing will be enforced.

Lot Behind Scoreboard-Authorized Parking Only

The parking lot behind the scoreboard is reserved parking for authorized vehicles only. An attendant will check all vehicles and if they are not authorized they will be asked to park elsewhere. Any unauthorized vehicles may be towed at owner’s expense. Reminder, this is a Rockwall High School home game so authorized personnel from Rockwall that park in the lot will have normal home access. Rockwall-Heath personnel that normally parks there during their home games will not be given access since they are the visitors this year.

Location of Rockwall HS Band/Drill Team

The Rockwall High School band and drill team will enter Wilkerson-Sanders Stadium from the North team gate on the Home side. This is the same routine that has been used for all previous home games, so nothing has changed in regards to the home team band and drill team. Remember all personnel (i.e. volunteers, parents, students, etc. that usually help) not in uniform will need to have a wristband to enter the south gate. They will then proceed through the gate onto the track and walk to the chaired seating that is located in the North (Aquatics Center end) end zone. No one without a wristband will be admitted.

NO SIGNS SHOULD BLOCK THE VIEW OF ANY SPECTATOR ON THE HOME OR VISITORS STANDS.

Rockwall High School signs can only be displayed on the home side of the stadium.

Rockwall-Heath High School signs can only be displayed on the visitor side of the stadium.

The division of the home and visitor sides will be determined from the middle of the scoreboard on the south side of Wilkerson-Sanders to the middle of the fence on the north side of the stadium (side of the Aquatics Center).

No Powder of any kind will be allowed

The use of powder is strictly prohibited. If any individual is using powder it could lead to their removal from Wilkerson-Sanders.

Sideline and Field Access for Band, Drill Team and Cheerleaders

All band and drill team personnel not in uniform that need access to the field for props and preparation for performances need to have sideline wristbands for access to the field on Friday night. The all band, drill team, and cheerleader personnel need to complete the links that have been provided to you by Ben Sumrak. If you have not, received the link please contact him.

The deadline is Friday, October 16, 2020 and each individual fine arts volunteer, photographer, videographer, etc. will need to complete the link individually. Then we will bring the wristbands over to your campus and you can pick them up from the campus Athletic secretary by Thursday, October 22, 2020 for your convenience. This should expedite entrance into the stadium for all involved and helps us avoid confusion.

No crossovers before, during, or after the game (including Halftime performances)

There will be no crossing over from the home side to the visitor’s side or the visitor’s side to the home side. Whichever side the patron enters they will have to stay on the side they enter. No crossover during half-time performances, with the exception of the announcers for the band and drill team and their official video people. The announcers and official video personnel (with wristbands) will have access to the 4th Level of the press box. Parents will not be allowed to crossover at half time to see performances from the home side.

No Reserved seating in Wilkerson-Sanders this season

There is no reserved seating in Wilkerson-Sanders this season. It is only general seating, which is first come first serve. Again, the gates to Wilkerson-Sanders will be opened at 5:30pm. All governmental guidelines of mask wearing and social distancing will be implemented. It is expected that all spectators must abide by signs, markings, and verbal reminders of game day staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable evening.

Run-Through Tunnel Crews Directions

Rockwall High School is the home team so the same procedure they use for home games will need to be followed.

Rockwall-Heath is the visitor; therefore, the run-through crew needs to bring their tunnel and equipment and enter the south gate on the visitor’s side (directly in front of the storage shed under the visitor’s stands). You will unload at the gate and then have to move your vehicles and park in the visitor parking lot. If available you can use the stadium gator to move equipment to the area you will use for the run-through. No parking is allowed at the gate, it is only a loading and unloading zone.
