Poppin’ Message at Jones

dance

The Jones Elementary students were treated to a Poppin’ Message program by the Jones PTA. The program focused on being a buddy, not a bully and integrated the message with fun student dance offs and even the teachers got in on the fun. The program focused on how students can treat others with respect and that “although stopping bullying may not always be easy, nevertheless, the steps are simple.”

The program is run by Officer Chris Bianez and Mr. Fenton Fulgham. Officer Bianez “has been encouraging and inspiring youth to live safe, drug-free, and violent-free lives for over 20 years professionally and in volunteer positions.”  Officer Bianez’s full time assignment is now safety education.

Mr. Fulgham has danced for the pas 30 years and “is the owner of Fenton's Dance Factory in Plano, Texas where he continues to develop outstanding dancers and performers with an ever-changing style that is unique and inspiring to all people.”

Both men made the high energy program enjoyable, interactive, and educational. The Jones Jaguars definitely loved having them visit! Thanks again to the Jones PTA!
