Collin College Summer 2021 Free Tuition Opportunity

To assist in helping students stay on track or not fall further behind academically as a result of the pandemic, Collin College is offering a summer 2021 tuition and fee credit for up to 7 credit hours for students graduating high school within the Collin College Service Area in May and June 2021 based on a phased approach.

Credit applications will be reviewed in a phased approach based on summer class availability.

·        Phase I –– Spring 2021 graduating seniors from the Collin College Service Area who qualified for free and reduced lunch while in high school are eligible to apply for the tuition credit.

·        Phase II –– Spring 2021 graduating seniors from the Collin College Service Area who have completed previous dual credit hours with Collin College are eligible to apply for the tuition credit. Applicants with adverse educational impact from COVID-19 or whose summer enrollment will help them reach an academic milestone (15 credits completed, 30 credits completed, or certificate/degree completion) will be given priority.

If the capacity for additional enrollment in summer 2021 is available as the program moves forward, a third phase may open to graduating students:

·        Phase III – (based on availability)– Spring 2021 graduating seniors from the Collin College Service Area who have experienced significant adverse educational impact from COVID-19 are eligible to apply for the tuition credit.

In the link below you can find detailed step-by-step instructions to apply to the Reversing the Slide program.
