5th Grade Refugee Project

5th Graders at Hamm Elementary created the first annual Refugee Project this past winter. Tied with their unit read aloud - Home of the Brave, the students worked hard on gathering goods and needs for local refugees. Over winter break all the items were taken and dontated to the Dallas and delivered at the refugee center. We are so proud of our heroes for taking their learning in class, applying it to the real world, and making a difference in our community.
