Half Metal Jackets Compete at VEX Terrell In the Zone Competition

Team 1296A, the Half Metal Jackets, recently competed in the VEX Terrell In the Zone competition.  The middle school aged team competed at the high school level and placed 13^th overall headed into the alliance selection. 

They were picked to be part of the 5^th alliance and were eliminated during quarterfinals.  When the awards were announced, the Half Metal Jackets won the Best Design Award.

The team is mentored by some of Rockwall High’s Full Metal Jackets Team 1296.
