Rockwall ISD and Rockwall Ford recently honored breast cancer survivors by hosting Breast Cancer Awareness Night at the Rockwall vs. Tyler Lee football game.
October is national Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Rockwall ISD and Rockwall Ford wanted to recognize the brave breast cancer survivors and remember those who have lost the fight.
Breast cancer survivors were invited on the field before the game to be recognized prior to the game where Rockwall ISD Board of Trustees President Stephanie Adams, board member and breast cancer survivor Leigh Plagens, Rockwall Ford General Manager Jeff Hicks and Lezli Bohannan welcomed them.
The Rockwall High School Walk the Line Choir performed “I’m Gonna Love You Through It” by Martina McBride.
All breast cancer survivors were able to attend the game for free.
