Amy Parks-Heath SAGE Students Make Einstein Rubiks Cube Mosaic

Amy Parks-Heath fifth grade SAGE students successfully completed a 225 piece Rubik’s Cube mosaic of Albert Einstein.  The project was inspired by fifth grader Noah Mazraani’s enthusiasm for The Rubik’s Cube.

Noah lead his class through the algorithms and reasoning involved in creating the required patterns, which was no easy feat.  Mosaics are a great way to celebrate the success of learning to solve one side of the cube while providing practice to memorize the algorithms.  The success of their first mosaic has inspired them to attempt a 600 piece mosaic as their next project!
