Cullins-Lake Pointe ES students are sharing the love with the community this Valentine’s Day with a school-wide service project benefitting local organizations.
Grade levels chose their own beneficiary; second grade donated to local animal shelters, another grade level gave to Helping Hands and Pre-K and Kindergarteners stuffed bags to send to local retirement homes.
Some students also wrote letters to first responders thanking them for their service.
“The students love it. It’s been a great time for them,” said Principal Jill Baird. “Students learn service, kindness and being part of the community.”
