The CORE Club, the newest club at Stevenson Elementary, recently kicked off “The Kindness Challenge.”
This amazing group of students in grades 1-6 have volunteered to lead the way in spreading kindness at Stevenson Elementary and our community by brainstorming simple acts of kindness that students can do.
Then they drew the names of five classrooms and visited in person on Monday morning to issue the challenges. Classrooms were given an envelope full of slips with different kindness challenges. After the classroom accepts and completes the challenges they sign a banner in the main hallway and pass the challenge along to a different class.
The first five classrooms to receive the Kindness Challenge were: Mrs. Farabee’s class, Mrs. Stewart’s class, Mrs. Cox’s class, Mrs. Almon’s class and Mrs. Raglin’s class.
