At the Rockwall ISD Dr. Gene Burton College and Career Academy, three Marketing Practicum students are working alongside Jeff Hicks, General Manager at Rockwall Ford, to provide a unique opportunity for seniors to apply for a chance of earning a
$2,000 scholarship to any college of their choosing.
Two seniors from Rockwall High School and two seniors from Rockwall-Heath High School will receive their checks at an exclusive Ford Driving Dreams Scholarship Ceremony in May.
Though scholarship applications are not due until February, students Matthew Coleman, Westley Giadolor and Jason Talley are working to help seniors stay on track to better their opportunity of success.
“This scholarship opportunity has allowed me to work with a business executive,” said Jason Talley, Rockwall-Heath High School student. “I’m excited to be a part of a promotion that directly serves our seniors.”
