Rockwall ISD Theatre Students Compete in Texas Thespians State Festival

 

Rockwall ISD Theatre Departments from all middle schools and high schools recently competed in The Texas Thespians State Festival and Contest in Grapevine, Texas.

 

They competed in The Texas Thespians Individual Events Contest where superior ratings are the highest rating given at this contest and are considered National Qualifying Events. 

 

The results are:

 

Cain Middle School Theatre: Four National Qualifying Events: 

Duet Acting: Kylie Rambo & Ainslee Jones, Duet Acting: Aiden Valentine & Annaleese Forscutt, Duet Musical: Kacey Turner & Kathryn Jordan, Group Acting: Tyler Brazier, Caroline Hipp, Hunter Kring, Bridget Ndogo, Kyra Madai

 

Utley Middle School Theatre: One National Qualifying Event: 

Group Musical: Diamond Braun, Samantha Blossfeld, Caleigh Cain, Jillian Deen, Bailee Grossheim, Elyse Guadagno, Kyi Les Pierre, Landyne Olive, Alison Pantoja, Gabrielle White, Landry White

 

Williams Middle School Theatre: One National Qualifying Event: 

Duet Acting: Bridget Stevens & Paulet Del Castillo

 

Rockwall High School Theatre: Five National Qualifying Events: 

Monologue: Morgan Leath, Monologue: Carson Davis, Monologue: Kyla Hampton, Monologue: Drew Smith, Solo Musical: Lauren Trevino

 

Rockwall-Heath High School Theatre: Over 50 College Audition Call-Backs, one $1,000 Thespian Scholarship awarded (Jaclyn Vu) and six National Qualifying Individual Events: Jaclyn Vu (Costume Design), Duet Musical: Bradyn Parmelly & Alexandra Chandler, Duet Musical: Kathleen Coutch & Julia Harrison, Solo Musical: Abby Thompson, Solo Musical: Dylan Lippincott, Short Film: Coleton Lockaby
