Colonial Night at Cullins-Lake Pointe Elementary

Colonial Night at Cullins-Lake Pointe Elementary

Students in fifth grade at Doris Cullins-Lake Pointe recently brought the Colonial Era and America’s first free enterprise system to life for parents, Cullins-Lake Pointe learners and community members.

They began the evening by singing songs on the town square then opened their shops for business as they talked about their trades. Students researched their topics, made their own props, decorated their shops and even created business cards.

The learners wore period costumes and sold the wares that they made to their customers.

The donations they collected will be given to Patriot PAWS to help disabled American Veterans.
