Sixth Grade Art Students at Reinhardt Elementary Create a Better Together Town

Students created colorful houses, modeled after a village in Palmitas, Mexico, that was painted as one cohesive mural by a graffiti artist and his team.

The goal for Palmitas was to create a sense of community in an otherwise broken town.  The plan proved successful, as the residents worked together, got to know each other as valuable citizens, and established pride of ownership in the little village.

Reinhardt 6th grade students have been working together and building their community as well.
